Greenovaitng Freedom
There are projects that take a long time to mature – not on paper, not in Excel but germinating quietly in your head and heart.
The following story is one such project and I would be grateful if you would take a few minutes of your time to listen to it. Not even for me – but for an idea/vision/concept that I want to see and take root in the world.
I can’t pinpoint one moment when it started. I feel that the idea has been growing up in me for more than three decades, and maybe even since childhood (when I dreamt of being an inventor).
Not as a plan for life, rather as a need. A conviction that the world I live in can – and even should – be designed differently. Smarter. In harmony with what really matters.
Do you too recognise that something in our world needs to change?
Something has shifted and the scales of benefit are tipping very much to one side and the ordinary person – no matter how hard they work – is increasingly becoming the one with the least influence and the most to lose. Instead of being supportive, technology often becomes a marketing tool, distancing itself from real needs, while influencing the polarisation of society and a sense of insecurity.
Cheap energy, clean water and food or, finally, a place of one’s own – things that should be the basis of a dignified, normal life become premium goods. Many people are left with the feeling that they have no choice. That they cannot live differently. That they have to adapt, even if they feel something is wrong…. It was this feeling that triggered an inner opposition in me, which eventually gave me the impetus to act.
It’s not a momentary inspiration, it’s an inner disagreement with how far we’ve strayed from simple values: independence, accessibility, balance. Because if something only works for a select few – it doesn’t really work. And if it is possible to live more cheaply, better and in harmony with nature – then it needs to be talked about. And it needs to be done.
I acted professionally, I developed, I learned – often in areas that at the time seemed to have nothing to do with this idea. But today I see that each of these paths was necessary. Everything was leading precisely to this place. And finally the moment came. A moment of decision. One that you can no longer put off. One when you feel that everything you’ve gathered over the years should finally start working towards something bigger. That you need to stop just talking. A first step needs to be taken. To give form. And most importantly, gather people around this idea.
Innovative Green Technology Solutions Foundation
This is why the Innovative Green Technology Solutions Foundation or simply IGTSF was formally established at the beginning of this year. A foundation that was born from a quiet intuition, evolved into a concrete need and finally turned into a clear decision: it is time to act.
One of the people without whom this step would not have happened is Alicja Kwaczynska – Vice President of the IGTSF, but above all a long-time friend of mine. We met over 20 years ago at university and since then our relationship – professional and personal – has grown, matured and developed in the rhythm of life. Each of us went our own way, but always with a similar approach to the world. And eventually these paths came together here – in a joint project.
Today, in founding the IGTSF, I am combining two paths: social and professional, and I do not intend to choose one of them. On a day-to-day basis, I still work in the commercial sector – advising companies, leading energy transition processes, helping to optimise systems, budgets and strategies. This is my daily life, my specialisation, my experience.
At the same time, I want to apply this knowledge and experience where quality of life, self-reliance, accessibility and dignity matter. I believe that true value is created precisely at the interface, between the world of technology and the world of man. Between knowledge and empathy. Between systems and the need for everyday independence.
We are not setting up the IGTSF to talk about ecology. We set it up to do it.
To reduce the cost of living with solutions that already exist, but are too little known or unavailable.
To bring together technologies that serve people – not just the market.
To educate, simplify, support.
To show that ecology and self-sufficiency are not a privilege – they are a right.
And being ‘eco’ does not have to be difficult, expensive or elitist.
For me, the Foundation is more than a project – it is a commitment to action and sincerity.
To look for viable, implementable solutions.
To create a space where people do not have to choose between comfort and responsibility, because both can be combined. This is why our slogan is Greenovaitng Freedom. Starting from the most basic human need…freedom with attention to the environment and ourselves.
I am not an activist. I am not a scientist.
I am a human being who sees that something needs to be done – and does it with what he has.
And I know that there are more of us. That more and more people feel and think the same way.
If you are one of them – I invite you. To talk to you. To cooperate. To take action.
The IGTS Foundation was not created to exist.
It was created to make a difference.
Step by step. Project by project. Person by person.
